Services

  • Provides a controlled environment in which to process cells for clinical use
  • Oversees methods and procedures for cell and gene therapy protocols
  • Cell expansion including peripheral blood mobilized CD34+ cells, mesenchymal stem cells, hematopoeitic stem cells and umbilical cord blood cells for use in clinical trials

Resources

  • Six fully-equipped independent culture rooms connected to a common anteroom
  • Each room contains a Class II biological safety cabinet, centrifuge, microscope and refrigerator
  • The anteroom has a -80 freezer and a decontaimination room that houses a pass-through autoclave
  • Balanced air handling system provides air barriers between the individual culture rooms and the outside space
  • Quarantine Room for incoming materials and a facility office space
