CCCC Core Facilities
Case Comprehensive Cancer Center's Shared Resources:
- Behavioral Measurement Core Facility- provides expertise in the development of new measures, and in the evaluation and interpretation of new, modified or established behavioral variables
- Biostatistics Core Facility- provides investigators with capabilities in biostatistics, clinical trials, epidemiology, statistical computing, and database and information management
- Cancer Pharmacology Core Facility - provides and sustains the laboratory, consultative, and data handling infrastructure necessary for accurate, sensitive, and valid measurement of drug and drug metabolite concentrations
- Clinical Trial Core Facility- provides investigators with a broad range of services to assist in the initiation and conduct of clinical trials
- Gene Expression Array Core Facility- all of the needed equipment for Affymetrix chip analysis of samples, including sample preparation, large database analysis and building of algorithms
- Hybridoma Core Facility - provides resource for generating and producing monoclonal antibodies to novel antigens that will enable investigators to discriminate among the proteins relevant to their research.
- Practice-Based Research Network Core Facilty - provide infrastructure that supports the implementation of Case CCC investigators' research studies in practice-based research networks, and that supports network practice-initiated research
- Tissue Procurement Core Facility- works to collect, prepare, and distribute high quality discarded human tissue samples to researchers studying cancer and other diseases
- Transgenic and Targeting Core Facility - provides transgenic and gene-targeted mice, in addition to pathogen control, cryopreservation and other services such as chimera, transfection, ES Cell line, training, etc.
